As the first Friday in June, today happens to be National Donut Day. In recognition of donuts as a passion of Energy Central's CEO, we always like to make a tradition about recognizing this holiday in fun ways.

This year, we're asking you all to pretend we're in an Energy Central Office together-- there are donuts in the breakroom, and we're all gathering together to chat on this Friday.

Oh yea, the break room is the comments section below!

So take a minute to hop into the comments and we're eager to hear your thoughts as you enjoy National Donuts Day:

  • Do you have any general feedback for Energy Central?
  • What are the stories or topics that are catching your attention these days?
  • What's your favorite type of donut?

Let's have a free-flowing conversation in the comments below!

I'll start! Donut wise, I'm a sucker for anything that uses shaved coconut in it. What about you?

Energy topics I'm following with perked ears: what policy will ultimately come out of the federal space? Is it a lot of hot air or can we get some bipartisan packages moving? And when will the solar tariff investigation be cleared up?

And lastly, I'm personally interested to hear-- reply to this comment with your notes, feedback, and suggestions for Energy Central! How can we make the platform work best for you?

Great one, Julian. The grid impacts, especially as we develop V2G, are really important and fascinating topics.

For Energy Central, I would love to see more conversations in the community.  Is there something we can do to help encourage this?

As for my favorite donut - I love the Dunkin Donuts Munchins - chocolate.

Your Community Coordinator would like to see more submissions & conversations in both the Customer Care & HR & Recruitment Groups. What are the biggest things utilities have done in those areas in the first part of 2022? I'd like a raised doughnut with chocolate frosting if there are any left please.
