This unique opportunity is for a candidate looking to take on a key role with a growing company in a critical infrastructure industry. We are looking for an experienced sales management professional familiar with the electric utility industry to spearhead the company’s continued sales growth across our four product lines, spanning IoT-based products and systems, to hardware. The successful candidate will be expected to be an active thought leader within the company, an active participant in improving the company’s internal performance, and a driver in improving our external reputation.
 

Responsibilities to Include:

Work with senior and product management personnel to develop and implement effective sales strategies for each of the company’s four product lines

Manage the inside sales support and customer service personnel

Motivate and lead a network of US-based and international sales representatives to establish and achieve sales targets

Establish productive and professional relationships with all key internal and external personnel

Negotiate and close agreements with strategic customers

Participate in management of strategic contracts during order execution

Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activities, and legislative and regulatory actions that may impact the industry.

Be a key participant in the company’s strategy development activities


Qualifications:

A true team-player who parks their ego at the door and thrives in a flat organization where everyone helps in every area.

Sales and sales management experience in products being sold into the electric utility industry

Experience in dealing with international contracts, letters of credit, etc.

Engineering degree
