Nearly 35,000 solar power devices worldwide can be accessed online by anyone, anywhere—including cyberattackers, according to new data from industrial cybersecurity firm Forescout. (Utility Dive)
The exposed devices have been produced by 42 different companies and include essential equipment for operating solar farms. Many remain online unnecessarily or without proper protections such as VPNs.
