Jim Rice, co-CEO, Nautilus Solar

Jim Rice is the co-CEO of Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC which he jointly founded in December 2006. Under his leadership, Nautilus Solar has grown from a start-up to a leading solar company which has developed and managed over $1 billion of solar projects. Jim is an energy industry professional with over 30 years of experience. During his career, he has operated, financed and invested in energy assets.  Jim’s experience includes founding another energy company, leading Carlyle/Riverstone’s power sector private equity efforts, and leadership positions at several major financial institutions.

 

 

Charles C. Sutton, President, MC Squared Energy Services, LLC

Chuck Sutton has more than 30 years of energy experience in both the natural gas and electricity industries. Prior to founding and launching mc² in 2008, Chuck was Chief Operating Officer of Constellation Energy’s retail natural gas division in Louisville, Kentucky.  Chuck was also president of DPL Energy Resources (DPLER) in Dayton, Ohio, between 2012 and 2014, the period in which DPL Energy owned mc². During that time, he led the utility-affiliated expansion into the Ohio retail energy markets. mc² was sold to Wolverine Holdings in early 2015.

 

 

Michael Cofer, Vice President, Delivery, Hansen Technologies

Michael Cofer is an experienced operations leader with a demonstrated history of working in the retail energy and software industry. Prior to Hansen Technologies, Michael was the Director of Operations at Liberty Power, where he was responsible for running operations in billing, sales support and customer service, as the company grew from a small start-up to being the largest independent retail electricity provider in the United States.

 

 

 

Nicholas Minekime, Managing Director, Altus Power America

Nicholas joined Altus Power America in 2020 as a Managing Director. Prior to joining Altus, he was a partner of True Green Capital and the Director of Deal Development & Execution. He drove a significant growth in assets and was responsible for the build out of a community solar origination and servicing platform that served over 13,000 customers. Prior to that, Nicholas executed a wide variety of renewable energy investments at Capricorn Investment Group.

Guy Tennant, CTO, Hansen Technologies

Guy Tennant joined Hansen in 2013, having spent the bulk of his career managing product development for Digital Service Providers: TV broadcasters; ISPs; Telcos, and content owners. His focus is on managing Hansen’s product portfolio and associated roadmaps and R&D budgets. Guy has held various technology leadership positions while living in London, Amsterdam and Johannesburg, and has experience working for software vendors (Irdeto, Entriq), as well as operators (Sky Group and Naspers Multichoice).
