In the Data Diodes 101 session, we looked at how data diodes work, how they interface with networks, and how they increase security. In this follow-up session, Mark Prince, Owner @ Optional Solutions, LLC and Entergy (ret.), and Scott Crider, Manager, Cybersecurity Energy + Utilities @ West Monroe Partners will dig into specific use cases, examples of data diode deployments, and how various data types are supported, including:

  • NERC CIP compliance 
  • Historian replication (OSIsoft, etc.) 
  • SFTP, OPC, FTP (file/folder transfer) 
  • Alarm management (PAS, Honeywell, TIPS)

Sam Flemmer, Cybersecurity Consultant at West Monroe Partners

Sam Flemmer is a Cybersecurity Consultant at Chicago-based firm West Monroe Partners. Sam's industry focus is E&U where he is currently leading the implementation of data diodes at a major utility.

Brian Romansky, CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER
Brian has over 25 years’ experience in security technology and innovation in automotive security, payment systems, healthcare, and logistics. As Chief Innovation Officer for Owl, he is focused on shaping and executing the company’s growth strategy through advanced technology development and entry into new markets.
