Deregulated Solar Energy (Brazil)

It's high time to make solar energy truly deregulated.

I'm referring to establishing that the energy "exported" from residential solar systems—for example—is accounted for at the hourly spot price and not at the ongoing fixed regulated rates.

This way, solar energy would be on par with the market.

Exports would, therefore, be arbitrated by the market. In the Brazilian dry seasons, for example, this exported energy would be highly valued.

In wet seasons, the situation is reversed. This given the fact that hydro power is the most important energy source in Brazil and highly dependent on the water reservoirs.

The important aspect is that each PV solar rooftop "entrepreneur" assumes their own risks, not "all other consumers," as is currently the case. A much more realistic approach, consistent with free markets.
