I told you....
I told you....
A significant part of the most highly qualified employees of a Brazilian company or institution have a good idea of the possibilities and alternatives in the energy arena that deserve to be evaluated in order to make good decisions.
But very few of this "platoon" expose themselves to really "enforce" their analyses.
It is part of our cultural profile not to put ourselves in "clashes". It is always "better" to be on good terms with everyone. Do not create disagreements. And the reason is simple. It generates "friction" and wear, considered unnecessary and even inopportune.
The most politically acceptable thing to do is then to state "I told you so" to show how valuable your opinion would have been.
But in real life, those who are exposed to the conflicts that are an integral part of organizations that seek interesting and convenient results, are the ones who really win.
Being "Mary goes with the others" as the local popular saying is a good decision only at first. When you acquiesce, "it looks really good". But a little further on, reality imposes itself, showing yet another missed opportunity.
