I created an innovative concept – I called it Demand Flexibility Exchange (DFE).
It is a place where industrial, commercial, and institutional energy users connected to the same local electric utility company can meet to exchange their kW contracted demand differences in a win-win mode:
* The utility company can deliver more energy with the SAME overall CAPEX associated infrastructure
and
* The utility clients can better adjust their contracted demands (avoiding “idle” demands and/or penalties for surpassing the contracted demand)
The DFE is synergic with Demand Response (DR) programs!
