Close your mouth, open your wallet

Close your mouth, open your wallet

Popular wisdom teaches us that a good mother-in-law  is the one that uses, as a strategy, the title of this post.  Accordingly has a great chance of being well liked!

The point in question also serves the Brazilian electricity sector, which behaves like a good mother-in-law.

The sector accepts all the "tortoises" that are postulated. Close your mouth and open your wallet. It pays for the power theft, accepts projects of questionable viability, grants generous subsidies, does not schedule demand-response programs and the list goes on and on.

The important detail. The wallet is not that of the Government. It is that of "all consumers" who pay the apportionment of the "tortoises".

Wouldn't it be time to open the  mouth and close the wallet?
