Whether its the current market design discussion in ERCOTISO New England Inc., or the thoughtful conversation being led by Northwest Power Pool, maintaining adequate regional resources to meet demand during a transition to renewable energy plus the electrification of everything is perhaps the most significant challenge ahead during the decade.

Wholesale market design change will be inevitable.
