Green Ammonia

Urea is by far the most used fertiliser worldwide. However, price volatility is a major challenge for farmers and the industry. High volatility of the price of fertilisers driven by gas price causes uncertainty in price forecast and a key factor in inflation of food products. However, the feedstock of green ammonia is renewable sources with long term fixed price or predictable PPA. Scotland has a unique capacity to become a global supplier of green urea fertiliser with minimum price volatility.
