
Idaho National Laboratory (INL), a Department of Energy (DOE) research facility, intends to build a prototype nuclear microgrid at its campus in Idaho Falls. The lab’s nuclear microgrid would be part of a larger effort to achieve net-zero carbon emissions for the facility by 2031.
