"We can't solve these problems just at a federal level. It is really about looking at it in different states. Some states have aggressive, significant goals for decarbonization in the future, and some states, decarbonization is not going to drive the decisions in their states, but economic transformation is important to them, and so, to me, I think it's having those conversations and figuring out in different regions what makes nuclear investible and the right answer supportive to the goals of that region." Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear (GAIN) Director Christine King explained.
