Letter from the Community Leader:

Utilities that are going to see the most success in the coming years are the ones that can intelligently and efficiently parse through and create business value from the mountains of data generated from all the new technologies plugged into the Grid. And better yet, the utilities who apply and use AI leveraging all this data are going to be a generation ahead!

Our goal is always to ensure that utility professionals who are a part of the Energy Central Community are a step ahead of the industry in seeing trends and knowing how to react. With that in mind, we knew that the world of utility data and associated business decision-making was a critical hot topic with which to close out 2021. Given that, our Special Issue Series for December asked our experts and key community members for their questions and insights on Enhancing Utility Business with Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

The response was enthusiastic and insightful, and so we are so grateful to be able to present to you some of the greatest insights from the top power sector leaders in this space. You'll find the full suite of submissions by visiting our December Edition Special Issue Topic Tag Page and reading all the insightful articles shared by thought leaders in the industry.

And as always, I'll note that the release of the Special Issue isn't the end of the topic, but really just the beginning. Let’s make this Special Issue as interactive as possible: all the authors who submitted articles encourage and implore you to leave comments, questions, and ideas in the comments section to which they can respond.  Note: you’ll need to sign in to your profile to comment, and if you don’t yet have a profile—create one here, join the community in which the article is posted, and share your thoughts and questions ASAP.

I look forward to seeing you in the Community!
