Energy Central Celebrates Veterans Day 2022: Follow Our Conversations With Veterans in the Utility Industry All Week

During the week of November 7, leading up to Veterans Day on November 11, Energy Central is celebrating Veterans in the utility sector in conjunction with our partners Franklin Energy and West Monroe.
A few weeks ago, we put out a call for veterans in the utility workforce as well as leaders in the power sector who value the expertise and leadership that veterans bring to our industry. And as we've come to expect, the Energy Central Community stepped up to the occasion!
Your access to Member Features is limited.
All this week, you can expect to see content celebrating our veterans going live, including:
- Direct interviews with veterans who work at the utilities, from line workers with boots on the ground all the way up to executives guiding the sector
- A video compendium of Energy Central Community members highlighting the value that veterans have brought to the power industry, and vice versa
- Written profiles from some of our utility partners spotlighting their key military veteran employees.
As those great pieces of content go live, they will be tagged to our Veterans Day 2022 landing page.
When you read these pieces, I'd love to personally invite you all to share your comments and questions to keep the dialogue going. Take the moment to thank the veterans, ask them for their insights, and more!
From all of us at Energy Central, we want to once again thank all veterans for their service, and we're excited to highlight the tremendous work so many of you all are doing today in the energy sector.

The Energy Central Power Industry Network® is based on one core idea - power industry professionals helping each other and advancing the industry by sharing and learning from each other.
If you have an experience or insight to share or have learned something from a conference or seminar, your peers and colleagues on Energy Central want to hear about it. It's also easy to share a link to an article you've liked or an industry resource that you think would be helpful.
