Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL), operating in the electric utilities sector, has announced 41.87 percent decrease in net profit to Rs35.38 crore for Apr-Jun 2021 from net profit of Rs60.86 crore in Apr-Jun 2020. Its revenue declined by 11.88 percent to Rs295.99 crore from Rs335.88 crore. The company's other income was at Rs4.35 crore and total income Rs300.34 crore for Apr-Jun 2021. The company's operating profit margin (OPM) came in at 29.83 percent when compared with 40.17 percent and net profit margin (NPM) 11.95 percent when compared with 18.12 percent. Its profit before depreciation and tax (PBDT) declined by 34.07 percent to Rs81.38 crore from Rs123.43 crore. GIPCL's earnings per share (EPS) was Rs2.34.
