Turan Information Agency

Baku/24.07.20/ Turan: The Ministry of Energy has prepared a plan for the development of hydrogen energy in Russia. Hydrogen should become one of the "green" alternatives to oil and gas, which a number of countries are planning to abandon.

Russia plans to produce and export hydrogen in connection with the global trend towards the rejection of hydrocarbon energy due to its negative impact on the climate and environmental situation, follows from the explanation to the "road map".

The production will use nuclear power, which not all developed countries support.

The first hydrogen producers will be Gazprom and Rosatom. The companies will launch pilot hydrogen plants in 2024 - at nuclear power plants, gas production facilities and raw material processing plants. -0
