7th Unmanned And Autonomous Systems For Utilities And Energy Conference

The UAS industry is growing. In 2021 the market size reached USD 23.60 billion and it’s on pace for revenue to increase to USD 77.69 billion in 2030. The utility and energy sector in particular have benefited tremendously from the advancements in UAS technology by improving safety measures, increasing efficiency in inspection operations, reducing costs, and providing innovative solutions to respond to emergency events.

Contributing to this growth was Part 107, the FAA or Federal Aviation Administration’s authorization of the commercial use of drones within US Airspace in 2016. The FAA’s Part 107 provides regulations for the (1) issuance of a remote pilot certificate as well as (2) operating rules for drone operators such as will be line of sight, less than 55 pounds and 100 MPH, and below 400ft.

The 7th Annual Unmanned Systems for Utilities & Energy event will demonstrate how utility and energy companies have been able to develop and grow internal UAS/Drone Programs. Significant topics at the event will include the best inspection and monitoring practices, emerging technologies, pilot and program management, data processing and analysis, regulatory updates to part 107 and BVLOS, safety and security developments and more!

This edition will be different from the previous one, as it will include FAA updates from the last year including the 2022 BVLOS ARC Report and other recent regulatory changes. There will also be a stronger emphasis on the importance of data management and analysis, and how complete the process while reducing cyber security risks. Finally, this conference will dive deeper into new technologies that have emerged over the last year.

Join this event and benefit from exclusive end-users driven case studies such as:

Federal Aviation Administration - Navigate Airspace Access during Operations and Events in Collaboration with the FAA and Industry

Tri-State Generation And Transmission Association, Inc - Exhibit Real World Applications for UAS to Protect Critical Infrastructure

Oak Ridge National Laboratory - Deploy UAS to Maximize Safety in Natural Disasters and Emergency Events

Evergy - Improve Efficiency and Safety Through UAS Operations by Maintaining a Risk-Averse Approach

Ozarks Electric Cooperative - Showcase how to Dramatically Expand an In-House UAS Program

Consumers Energy - Employ the Best Methods for Training Pilots, Meeting Certification Requirements, and Exceeding Regulator and Mission Standards

 PDH Accreditation
