Vincent Chan

Vincent Chan is an experienced mechanical engineer specializing in coal-fired and gas-fired power stations. He is a Chartered Engineer CEng in the UK and a corporate member of The Hong Kong Institutions of Engineers. He has contributed to the design and erection of a 380MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT), reprovision of an Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT), the construction of Hong Kong's first Offshore LNG Terminal, retrofit of Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) system and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. He actively researches emerging technologies in the power generation industry, including Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), and hydrogen-fired power plants.
