Sonny is the Managing Director of Global Energy Solutions at Uptake, the leading industrial advanced analytics and actionable insights company creating a world that always works. Named “Hottest Start-up” by Forbes in 2015, Uptake was recently recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer. Prior to Uptake, Sonny spent 13 years at Exelon Corporation in a variety of senior executive positions, including chief information and innovation officer and president of Exelon Power. Sonny began his career in the public and nonprofit sectors. He served as an assistant to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley and was appointed a White House Fellow by President Bill Clinton. Sonny holds a master’s degree and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an M.P.P. from Harvard University.
