Martin Altman has a wealth of critical infrastructure resilience experience in the utility industry, including implementation of innovative concepts. He is a strong leader and facilitator that brings more than 35 years of emergency and program management experience with local, state, and federal government entities. As a FEMA PA subject matter expert and technical manager, Mr. Altman has been instrumental in the recovery of approximately $20 billion in federal grants. He is currently a Senior SME Advisor for several utilities throughout the US CONUS providing expertise in federal regulation compliance and developing funding strategies to maximize reimbursement from extreme weather events and catastrophic infrastructure failures after a disaster. Mr. Altman also manages a project for the Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG)/Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), providing program management services for a $729 million Section 428 capped grant to harden 1,025 miles of power distribution, part of a $1.4 billion mitigation grant.
