Dr. Klaus Willnow (46) has headed the Innovation Cooperations Department at Siemens Energy since July 2008. This role sees him work closely with academics, technology experts, opinion leaders and politicians to identify and develop innovative solutions for global energy challenges. Klaus has worked for Siemens Energy for 15 years in various roles covering nuclear, fossil power generation, transmission and distribution. He has a doctorate in civil engineering from the Ruhr-University of Bochum and is married with two children. This is his first foray into the world of blogging.
