University of Oxford
Julian Hunt submitted his D.Phil (PhD) thesis to the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford in January 2013. During his D.Phil he developed a decision support system called the University of Oxford Tool for Decision Organisation (OUTDO) with the intent to standardise decision-making processes. This tool has been applied to find the recommended electricity generation technology, paying particular attention to water consumption, for ten different regions in the UK from 2010 until 2050. Julian worked as an intern for the Energy and Climate Change Branch of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and received a first class degree in chemical engineering from the University of Nottingham. Currently he is looking for jobs in the energy sector.
