Bamidele Faparusi is a highly experienced engineer with over 19 years of professional experience in renewable energy, solar PV systems, power systems integration, service provision, project management, and training. He is the founder and CEO of GreenPower Overseas Limited, a leading renewable energy company in Nigeria specializing in solar energy, biogas, and power systems. In his earlier career, Bamidele worked as a project manager and oversaw the execution of various projects including the installation of hundreds of solar vaccine refrigerators and solar systems for water pumps in different regions of Nigeria.

In 2011, Bamidele was elected as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing the Gboyin, Emure, and Ekiti East Federal Constituency. As a member of parliament, he has been a strong advocate for education, agriculture, and entrepreneurship. He served as the Sub Committee Chairman of Foreign affairs (NCPC) and was also a member of several standing committees including power, environment, foreign affairs, national planning & economic development, ICT, and constituency outreach.

In addition, he was the commissioner for Infrastructure and Public Utilities in Ekiti State, where he was responsible for the energy, telecommunications, and water resources sectors of the state. Bamidele is currently the Chairman Board of Trustee of the Gender Mobile Initiative and GreenPreserve Innovative Initiatives.
