Anne is a Founding Advisor of ILLUME Advising, LLC. She is a skilled researcher and customer experience design consultant who specializes in the human dimensions of energy technologies and resource management. She is a widely known expert in behavior change strategies, marketing, education and outreach research, and emerging smart grid technologies. In her career, Anne has led multi-million dollar research initiatives across multiple years of engagement. She has demonstrated a strong history of repeat work with key utility accounts, including state utility commissions and the US’s largest investor-owned utilities. A lover of people and process, Anne is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and stakeholder group facilitator.  She has delivered multiple keynote addresses, including a lecture at the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Anne has presented on multiple expert panels for governing bodies, including the US Department of Energy, the California Public Utilities Commission, NYSERDA, the Minnesota Department of Commerce, and provided testimony for the Maryland Public Utilities Commission. Widely published, Anne’s work can be found in academic journals and peer-reviewed industry proceedings. Anne serves on the planning committee for the International Energy Program Evaluation Conference, has given seven years of service to the Behavior, Energy and Climate Conferences, and sits on the US Department of Energy Working Group on Behavioral Energy Efficiency. Anne is located in Tucson, AZ.
