Peggy Flannery

Peggy Flannery is currently a Principal on the Investment team at Generate Capital, a leading sustainable infrastructure investment firm.  She has dedicated the last 11 years of her career to deploying clean energy infrastructure solutions across the US, first as a development and M&A professional, and most recently as an investor.  She has a passion for business development, contract negotiation, and structuring successful and commercial partnerships. At Generate, Ms. Flannery developed and led Generate’s key solar investment strategy in community solar, deploying over $275 million within the sector to date. Prior to Generate Capital, she spent 7 years at SunEdison, as it grew to be one of the largest renewable energy developers in the world. There, she focused on leading project acquisitions and joint development agreements in the US Commercial & Industrial space and was responsible for over $300 million in distributed solar assets that were developed, constructed, and financed.  

She spent the first several years of her career at Goldman Sachs, in Sales and Trading for the Global Securities Services Division in New York City. She holds a BA from Columbia University in Environmental Science and Mathematics.   She currently lives in San Francisco with her spouse and two young children.
