Responsibilities:
  • Identify, implement, and maintain training programs that provide a consistent foundation of competence and knowledge for staff, develop staff for current on future roles, and provide opportunity to develop new skills to support growth in the talent pipeline.
  • Develop and implement targeted training as gaps are identified. Proactively assess areas of improvement and coordinate with subject matter experts to identify solutions. Create an engaging and continuous improvement environment and encourage professional development that raises employees' skills and increases their value to the company.
  • Build and manage project plans for performance management processes, systems, training, communications, etc. including goal setting. Lead or support assessments as identified by the Directorate to find opportunities for improvement. Support strategic initiatives targeted to make improvements needed to move the organization closer to meeting long-range objectives.


Qualifications:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree and 3 years
  • Must have experience in developing training programs to support staff development and growth in talent pipeline.
  • Must have excellent skills in writing, verbal communication, relationship management, planning, and organization
  • Ability to influence change at all levels and work in a culturally diverse organization.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about team and laboratory success.
