Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Talent Acquisition team is hiring an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Recruiting team. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can come up with creative solutions to solve problems and increase efficiency. Do you have strong technical skills and also love to work with people?
This position will work a 9x80 hybrid schedule (every other Friday off!) from a commutable distance to our Idaho Falls offices for on-site work as needed.

Responsibilities Include:
- Work is performed with oversight for TA Staffing and with some independence, based on knowledge of the organization, company systems, Human Resource practices and policies, and lab-wide administrative procedures.
- Position requires a wide variety of developed skills and knowledge within the hiring and new hire orientation process and coordinating these processes across the rest of the HR organization.
- Works with all levels of management and employees to ensure the administrative responsibilities of hiring and new hire orientation are complete. Also ensures that all data associated with these business processes is valid, correct, and accurate. This accuracy is vital for records/files and will be translated into the various HR systems.
- Works closely with Medical and Security personnel to ensure all new hires are moving through the process.
- Foster a good team environment by maintaining positive working relationships with customers and fellow co-workers across the organization.
- Will assist with performing tasks such as data entry into Oracle HCM and/or Taleo, making travel arrangements for candidates, scheduling interviews both in person and virtually, preparing staffing reports, posting jobs to various internet sites as needed, maintaining Taleo candidate files, assisting with position descriptions, assisting with reviewing/auditing procedures, presentation preparation, etc.
- Coordination of new hire spreadsheet, including pulling information from multiple systems and providing this documentation to various parties on a routine basis under strict deadlines.
- Assigned tasks require, on a regular basis, coordination within HR and across INL, and also the ability to collaborate with external customers.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Provide backup support on laboratory terminations. Provide backup administrative support for Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle competing priorities while ensuring that all work is done within specified timeframes.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, talent acquisition and/or human resources experience using an applicant tracking system.
Applicant Tracking System experience, including Oracle Taleo and HCM systems is highly desired.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
Advanced organizational skills.
