Provides direct support for processing the day-to-day vendor invoice and payment obligations. Maintains high standards on internal operations and financial controls to ensure risk mitigation to protect the FOC. Processes EFT transactions, prepares monthly account reconciliations, and reviews exception reports. Interacts with internal and external customers in responding to inquiries or report requests. Recognizes problems and seeks root-cause solutions. Serves as a resource to Customers, IT, Procurement, Vendors and less experienced AP staff in the resolution of complex AP problems and issues. Is proficient in Lawson AP application and serves as a resource to others. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications:

Education : Associate's degree.

Experience : 10+ years of automated accounts payable processing. Minimum of 5 years' experience in customer service proving client focus and interaction.

Equivalent Experience : 15 years of automated accounts payable processing.

Specialized Skills : Strong ERP specifically in accounts payable and procurement, MS Office Suite - advanced knowledge in Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint. Must possess strong oral and writing skills. Must demonstrate leadership amongst peers and work well across all levels of management. Ability to perform effectively and adapt positively in a change environment. Self-starter. Experience with an automated accounts payable system and knowledge of accounts payable laws and regulations. Ability to prioritize work assignments and handle multiple tasks concurrently. Able to work independently and as a strong team player. Flexible.

Unusual Hours : Occasional overtime is required.
