Position Title: Senior Valuation Analyst

Position Description:
Review and understand commercial terms of standard and structured energy commodity contracts; Identify and validate visible pricing parameters and estimate illiquid pricing parameters; Develop, implement and standardize pricing and valuation models to estimate risk, position and value of energy options; Leverage existing quantitative skills, computational finance methods, knowledge of energy commodity markets and structured products to solve quantitative problems in the energy commodity market real options and structure products pricing; Analyze deal structuring, risk management, and coding in the energy commodity market; Develop and implement portfolio market risk distribution estimation methods; Benchmark, test and document transaction pricing models and system valuation models; Ensure model development can be leveraged across the trade floor by commercial and control personnel; Coordinate with Risk Operations/other groups to implement system valuation models and methods in a robust, accurate, and timely manner; use statistical methods to model and explain energy commodity market and contract risk characteristics; and conduct data analytics and model implementation using Python, R, and/or C++.

Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics, and two years of experience in valuation analysis in energy commodity markets. Must have 2 years' experience in the following: Deal structuring, risk management, and/or coding in energy commodity markets; Pricing and valuation of complex, structured products, and energy commodity markets; Statistical methods to model and explain energy markets, credit and contract risk characteristics; Standard quantitative/computational finance methods and application to energy commodity market real options and structured products pricing; Parameter estimation, using large data sets, and sparse and illiquid market data; Programming for data analytics and model implementation, including Python and either R or C++.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $94,500 to $115,000 per year
