This position will be recruiting for our National and Homeland Security directorate. They discover, demonstrate, and deliver innovative products that enable defense, intelligence and public safety, the security and resilience of critical infrastructure, and the peaceful use of nuclear technologies.
In this role you will be responsible for providing full life cycle technical recruiting activities as a member of our team. You will collaborate with the recruiting team, senior management and hiring managers to forecast and assess hiring needs, and to recruit qualified technical candidates to meet those needs.
Duties as follows:
  • Build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches and lead customer/partner expectations
  • •Recruit passive candidates and gauge chemistry of candidates for culture fit and motivation rather than simply selling a job. Build and maintain a strong recruiting network through market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Recommend strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the Lab, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fit within our mission. Offer an authentic approach to recruiting and delivery of the highest quality results to the customer.
  • Articulate recruiting plans and objectives with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process. Help grow and maintain HR databases, records management, calendaring systems, etc. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Screen, interview and deliver a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline, as established by the customer.
  • Partner with the HRBP and Compensation teams to determine appropriate salary ranges and negotiate compensation with candidates while maintaining internal equity


Minimum Requirements:
  • PR0300: Bachelor's degree, plus 5 years of corporate and/or search firm recruiting, business development and sales experience, with proven client relationship development experience.
  • PR0400: Bachelor's degree, plus 8 years of corporate and/or search firm recruiting, business development and sales experience, with proven client relationship development experience.
  • A track record of sourcing candidates for senior level scientific and/or technical positions, specifically Information Management and Engineering professionals.
  • CTS/ATS experience for sourcing and tracking candidates. Ability to cultivate relationships with qualified potential candidates and referral sources. Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
  • A teammate that embraces inclusion and understands how to be a successful highly productive recruiter while still maintaining a strong work / life balance. Recruiting is not a 8-5 job, but we take a balanced approach to ensure quality of work and quality of life.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with advanced recruitment and strong customer relationship management experience.
  • Advanced sourcing and search capabilities. Idaho National Laboratory hires highly technical and highly talented hard to find resources. You will need to be very adept in your recruiting skills to succeed at being a top performer in this role.
