Position Summary
Administer application of parameters in the customer billing system for electric, gas, non-energy, tax and franchise rate schedules. Coordinate customer billing system with other billing interface systems as required. Ensure jurisdictional tariffs comply to obtain accurate customer billing

Essential Responsibilities


  • Administer, design, and amend rate schedules, special contracts, non-energy products and services, tax and franchise schedules within the customer billing system to ensure accuracy and conformity with state and federal jurisdictional tariffs. Requires ability to design and maintain hundreds of rate schedules within the customer billing system.
  • Ensure corporate compliance with franchise agreements.
  • Coordinate implementation of rate changes with retail business areas (Billing, Customer Service, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Pricing, IT programmers, Tax and Accounting) to ensure accurate and timely billing capabilities.
  • Assist in development and preparation of regulatory testimony, exhibits, data requests and reports and file with state and federal regulatory commissions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements



  • Requires a BS or BA degree in business or related discipline and a minimum of two years experience in the rate regulatory field, or equivalent knowledge gained through five years experience in the rate regulatory field.
  • Customer Resource System (CRS) experience preferred.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of corporate software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of tariffs, including rates, rules and regulations.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $60,000 to $85,333 per year
