Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Employee Assistance Program is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a psychologist! Service locations may vary across multiple INL facilities, primarily based in Idaho Falls on a 4-10 or 9-80 schedule. This team works an on-site 4x10 schedule with every Friday off. We are a full-service internal EAP within the Occupational Medical Program, in the ESH&Q Directorate.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide a broad range of counseling services for employees and their direct family members.
  • Work within laboratory policies and DOE requirements, state and federal laws and regulations, and APA guidelines.
  • Receive mentoring, serve as back up, and collaborate with the current Designated Psychologist for the Department of Energy Human Reliability Program.
  • Provide EAP services to INL employee and managers
  • Training presentations
Minimum Requirements:
  • Level 3: PhD with State Licensure and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Level 4: PhD with State Licensure and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Doctorate (Ph.D. or PsyD) from a clinical psychology graduate program that includes a one-year clinical internship approved by the APA or equivalent program.
  • Current Idaho State Licensure or eligibility for Idaho State Licensure in psychology.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
  • Experience with psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment including MMPI interpretation.
  • Experience with risk assessment, insider threat, and violence in the workplace assessments and interventions.
  • Experience assessing and addressing personal and occupational issues, addiction, career and life transitions, and family issues focusing on health and productivity management.
  • Experience working with children, couples, and family counseling.
  • Knowledge of DOE's Human Reliability Program, Fitness for Duty, Employee Assistance Programs, or other psychological work in occupational settings.
  • Experience using electronic health records for clinical documentation

  • Salary Grade 200 ($79,140 - $130,572) / Salary Grade 210 ($91,032 - $150,156)
