Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring all activities of assigned O&M Project Coordinators. The Project Manager ensures company's goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, within funding parameters, to the intended efficiencies of the project asset. The Project Manager also interacts and coordinates with representatives of client organizations, corporate business units, along with project vendors, contractors, support agencies, and regulatory authorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Prepares and completes action plans.
- Writes technical specifications and work scopes.
- Embraces production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
- Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements change.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job.
- Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Organizes the project start to finish; knows the steps and initial set up, secures the right inputs, secures the right permits.
- Works efficiently in proximity with the operations.
- Interfaces with other departments, vendors, stakeholders.
- Seeks the most cost-effective path of implementation of project.
- Ensures vendors' adherence to contract and standards.
- Inspects and approves work to secure desired results.
- The position does not have any direct reports, but this is a possibility in the future.

- Must be able to travel 20-25% of time.
- Safety equipment including but not limited to; hard hat, safety glasses, work uniform, fall protection, life jacket, flash suits, insulated gloves, leather gloves, safety-toed boots, push-in ear protection, and cold weather gear shall be worn in the performance of these functions.
- May occasionally be required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs and ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, or smell and may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This could include, working in extreme heat or extreme cold conditions.
- The noise level in the environment is usually loud and requires the use of PPE.
- Minimum of five 5 years' experience in project management is required.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related field required.
- Experience in hydroelectric field is preferred.
- Utility experience is preferred, but not required.
- CAD experience is preferred , but not required.
