Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Special Reactor Concepts group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Project Coordinator.
Our team works an on-site 9x80 schedule located at our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off!
Responsibilities Include:
This position will be a direct report to the Special Reactor Concepts Department within the Nuclear Science and Technology (NS&T) Division. Assist department leadership in developing program processes and procedures by originating and compiling documents such as execution plans, project plans, and operations guidelines. Lead and consult on project start-up activities. Utilize project management techniques to assure technical, schedule, and budget baselines are controlled throughout each phase of a project. Manage projects in accordance with all BEA procedures and policies. Establish and maintain liaison with the customer throughout the entire project to resolve problems and coordinate service functions. Act as lead for assigned small projects in planning and establishing schedules, forecasts, budgets, parameters, etc., and monitor progress to assure schedules are met and work is performed within budget. Plan and conduct planning and execution meetings and department events.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years or Advanced Degree and 3 years experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years or Advanced Degree and 6 years experience
  • Must be able to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship
Preferred Requirements:
  • PMP or CAPM preferred
  • Experience in Micro-reactor projects preferred
  • Experience in working on classified projects preferred
  • Ability to obtain SCI clearance

  • Salary Grade 190 ($68,820 - $113,644)/200 ($79,140 - $130,572)
