Are you an experienced Risk Analysis Professional? Our Business Management Organization is seeking a Program Coordinator who will help develop and coordinate a risk analysis program to support successful project execution. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project Risk Management Plans and Risk Registers.
  • Collaborate with project teams to assign appropriate Risk Response Strategies, Probability (Likelihood), and Impact (Consequences).
  • Review plans and lead activities related to risk mitigation, planning, control, review, and reporting.
  • Provide risk analysis using Safran software to model integrated cost and schedule impacts to projects.
  • Analyze the expected impact of differing scenarios for current, future, and ongoing risks that could change expected project outcomes.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, input and analyze data, and assist in continuous improvement to the risk management process.
  • Provide guidance and direction to all affected personnel to assure that they are sufficiently knowledgeable of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data and analyses to execute their work scope in full compliance with contractual requirements in accordance with the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) EVMS certification with the Department of Energy (DOE).
  • Support the PMO Management System Lead (MSL) with internal surveillances to ensure EVMS requirements are being met.
  • Provide support to the PMO during surveillances and corrective action planning during internal DOE/INL surveillances and DOE Office of Project Management external project EVMS certification surveillance.
  • Work with Project Controls to ensure the use of cost and schedule reserves in baselines are consistent with project risk registers.
  • Conduct risk audits and risk assessments. Collaborate with Project Controls in variance and trend analysis.
  • Support the Business Performance Management Lead with surveillances to ensure Business Management requirements are being met.
  • Collaborate with Department of Energy, Senior Management, and other national labs, as needed.


Qualifications:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree and 3 years
Desired skills and experience:
  • Expertise in risk modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of DOE Order 413.3B.
  • Proficiency in using PC operating systems and several basic software applications i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of relevant software programs, including Safran, @Risk, Active Risk Manager (ARM), or Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA).
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent requests and/or changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and objectives.
