Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Modern Workplace Training Content Developer! Information Management (IM) Modern Workplace team provides among other services support for Citizen Creators (Creators) to develop successful digital solutions using no-code/low-code platforms from Microsoft including SharePoint (both on-premises and cloud), Power Apps and Power Automate. This team works 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off. This position is virtual and requires the employee to live within one hour distance from INL due to the need to come onsite for training.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform as an enabler and technology advocate for creators using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and other related technologies.
  • Create how-to videos, documentation, design and facilitate training for individuals who want to learn how to use SharePoint online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Teams, and other tools provided for these environments.
  • Creating and maintaining a video library of instructional videos for creators to view.
  • Creating and maintaining knowledge base articles for creators to reference.
  • Designing and facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Staying ahead of on advancements in M365 and SharePoint programs and teaching methods.
  • Work with citizen creators to determine the best subjects and skills to conduct training on for end users
  • Continually research and learn new capabilities becoming available within the GCC environment.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Level 2: Bachelor's Degree & 2 years' experience or 10 years' equivalent work experience.
  • Level 3: Bachelor's Degree & 5 years' experience or 13 years' equivalent work experience.
  • Applicants are subject to the requirements of DOE O 142.3B, Unclassified Foreign National Access Program.
  • Incumbents will be required to commute to perform onsite training at INL as requested/needed.
  • Developer experience in Microsoft Products including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Teams.
  • Ability to research, organize and conduct training sessions virtually and in-person.
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills specifically within a training environment
  • Demonstrated a good work ethic and ability and willingness to take on new challenges.
Preferred Requirements
  • Prefer degree programs in Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering

  • Salary Grade 200 ($79,140 - $130,572) / Salary Grade 210 ($91,032 - $150,156)
