Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Program Management group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as an IT Vendor Manager, Publishing Specialist! This team works a remote 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Fulfill requests for subcontracted services from IM customers for staff augmentation, task-based and other service contracts.
  • Enter requisitions into Ariba, obtain approvals, coordinate with contract specialists on issuance of requisitions, coordinate interviews for staff aug contracts, and ensure contracts are issued in a timely manner to meet IM customer needs.
  • Subcontractor onboarding includes working with subcontractors to complete their badging paperwork, submitting to Personnel Security for processing, coordinating subcontractor training, Subcontracted Work Office (SWO) processing, submission of computer account requests, and coordinating shipment of computer equipment and peripherals to subcontractors.
  • Perform contract amendments and ensure subcontractor badges are extended.
  • Perform as the secondary Publishing Specialist for BEA.
  • Prepare complex technical specifications and lead all aspects of the procurement and contract award of all BEA off-site printing services through U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) and off-site commercial printing vendors.
  • Develop and manage GPO-authorized contracts with commercial printing vendors.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies with GPO and internal supply chain department.
  • Maintain a detailed tracking system to account for every off-site printing request.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of actions and decisions pertaining to off-site printing services.
  • Perform routine surveillances of the BEA P-Card System and lab-wide compliance with GPO regulations.
  • Work with BEA customers to determine technical specifications and most economical choices to meet the customer's printing needs.
  • Participate in process improvements for IT Vendor Management scope and engage in ancillary IM projects.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Level 2- Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant experience or 10 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Level 3- Bachelor's degree and 5 years relevant experience or 13 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • United States Government Publishing Office (GPO) certification will need to be obtained and is required.
  • Must be capable and willing to work under significant time constraints and pressures.
  • Must be able to work with little or no direction, prioritize own work schedule and be flexible to accommodate immediate outside printing requests.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of printing services and procurement processes in accordance with Government Publishing Office and the Joint Committee on Printing.
  • Knowledge of printing terminology and the processes involved to properly communicate with vendors and customers, to ensure requests are processed effectively and efficiently.
