Austin Energy Tech & Data is seeking an IT Manager to:
- direct and lead IT teams and the life-cycle management of 24x7x365 critical, highly-integrated, complex enterprise applications for Austin Energy's meter-to-cash program in support of utility and City strategic initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, City of Austin's Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing, Oracle Field Services work order system, Digital Self Serve online customer portal, and Landis + Gyr Meter Data Management / Command Center solutions
- manage 24x7x365 operations, support, and maintenance as well as major enhancements and upgrades of enterprise applications/interfaces, lead incident response to critical, highly integrated, complex enterprise applications solutions. Solutions are customer-touching/impacting and are integrated/dependent upon other programs/solutions within utility information technology division, operational technology division, other City departments, and vendor-hosted/SaaS
- serve as Unit Leader in utility incident command activations
- serve as ITIL Practice Manager. Participate in Change Advisory Board and contribute to Service Management Office
- ensure timely and appropriate communications/alerts to all levels of business and IT stakeholders
- partner with business and vendors. Monitor vendor performance, ensure compliance with regulations and Council mandates, participate in root cause analyses and annual audit engagements, and provide timely PIR responses

Fair Labor Standards Act:
This position is considered FLSA Exempt. Exempt employees are salaried and, except as provided, are not eligible for overtime compensation.
Pay Range
$44.40 - $57.72
Hours
Monday through Friday.
Supporting 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. activity - 40 Hour Work Week.
May work evenings, weekends or holidays. Schedule may change based on business need.
