Position Summary
Designs, develops, and delivers inclusion and diversity strategies, programs and solutions that are in support of Company and Business Area objectives. Implements policies, programs, training, and opportunities to foster a corporate culture that values the inclusion and diversity of all employees, vendors, customers, shareholders and potential employees. Provides expertise to enable success of inclusion and diversity and workforce development programs that contribute to organizational and employee effectiveness. Works with veteran / military job candidates and military workforce development partners. Identifies, tracks, and maintains records and metrics.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Leads the implementation of innovative business strategies to achieve diversity and create a culture of inclusion in all aspects of the business. Interprets policies, programs and procedures that support diversity and inclusion. Proactively fosters an environment that values individual and cultural differences to maximize organization effectiveness.
  • Works in partnership with the business and HR areas to develop and implement solutions that support inclusion and diversity strategies, policies, and initiatives. Partners with EEO & Employee Relations and/or refers relevant issues to support compliance and representation issues.
  • Identifies and develops internal and external relationships in support of inclusion and diversity strategies, including partnering closely with internal Employee Network Groups and other corporate areas. Have a positive external presence to enable effective branding strategies.
  • Leads initiatives such as, but not limited to, management and employee educational awareness and training sessions. Responsible for successful implementation of assigned projects/programs.
  • Identifies trends and develops solutions to address them. Researches, analyzes, and utilizes benchmarking data and best practices.
  • Reports diversity data to the business areas in a clear and consistent manner, and provides subject matter expertise to the business to ensure sound interpretation of results that lead to clear action planning and prioritization of areas to be addressed.

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or directly related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of relevant experience.
  • Practical experience in implementing diversity and inclusion strategies strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of EEO/AA laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external partnerships.
  • Proven ability to provide tactical support and guidance to leadership teams on diversity and inclusion initiatives and process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Quality process focus and detail oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Military experience is preferred.
  • Prior or current service on non-profit boards of directors

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $66,000 to $94,000 per year
