Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Operations group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as an Identity and Access Management Architect (Senior Level)! This team works a hybrid 9x80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Plan, implement, and support identity and access management efforts across multiple Active Directory domains and cloud environments.
  • Design, implementation, administration and maintenance of authentication and access management environments.
  • Gather requirements, estimate effort, and work independently with customers to design, deploy, and maintain identity and access management solutions.
  • Provide suggestions for standard processes for identity management, access controls, and credential integration for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Design and configure Single Sign-on (SSO) solutions for applications using Kerberos, SAML, and OAuth/OpenID Connect authentication.
  • Develop customizations to integrate applications and federate services across multiple organizations.
  • Design, develop, install, patch and upgrade supporting products; establish policies and document procedures to maintain them.
  • Provide recommendations for implementing security controls in accordance with company policy and DOE initiatives/directives.
  • Coach and provide technical direction to junior staff on related implementations.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors plus 5 years of experience, or Masters plus 3 years of experience, or PhD & 0 years of experience or 13 years directly related experience in lieu of degree.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
  • Experience working directly with Active Directory.
  • Experience with the management of cloud products and services
  • Experience developing and integrating systems to follow NIST, DOE, and other federal standards.
  • Excellent debugging, problem solving and process implementation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and X.509 standards.
  • Good familiarity with object and relational databases, especially SQL competence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in complex, heterogeneous environments, simultaneously operating Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X/macOS, and Linux systems.
  • Understanding of various scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Good communication skills.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Cyber security and information assurance regulations such as FISMA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, SP, FIPS, RMF, etc.
