Xcel Engergy has a need for a Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver 1st 6 Months at the MDC in Henderson, Colorado
Substation Construction anticipates a need for a Truck Driver 1st-4th Year to work throughout the Xcel Energy Service Territory, constructing substations, hauling materials and equipment and all emergency repairs of our transmission and distribution system.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a valid Class A CDL License with Tanker & Double Triples
Preferred to have10 years' experience driving semi.
Must be able and willing to respond to after hour emergency work and callouts, and work extensive amounts of overtime
Requires moderate overnight travel
Travel Requirements - 70% minimum
On Call Responsibility - 7 days a week/24 hours a day for emergency work
Experience hauling heavy tonnage - 200,000lbs + in mountainous regions
Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain in 30 days
Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain in 90 days
NCCO crane certification
Experience operating construction equipment (forklift, skid steer, excavator, manlift, backhoe, loader)
Experience with interstate hauling and permit requirements

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $33.66 per hour
