JOB SUMMARY

Oversees Human Resources (HR) areas focused on the employee experience, leader/business partnership, cultivating culture including diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) integration, recruiting, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, change management, organizational development and leader/employee education and career development and ensures strategies are effectively aligned with company vision. Partners with Executives and HR leadership team to create a positive employee experience, plans and executes organization change and promotes a strong culture to ensure employee engagement, attraction and retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates strong business partnerships with Executives and the HR team focused on overall workforce strategy, culture, and employee engagement; consults with leadership on organizational and change management, advisor on succession planning and leader development, and sets overall employee relations strategy.
  • Works with HR leadership team to leverage and enhance the employee experience via the overall human resources strategies, policies, procedures and tools while ensuring alignment with company vision, mission, and business objectives.
  • Oversees all training and development programs and ensures they are aligned with the company vision; assists executive and leadership teams in identifying training needs; may provide executive coaching.
  • Oversees the development of robust talent acquisition efforts to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs while ensuring the long-term retention of successful and effective employees, leaders and executives.
  • Oversees diversity, equity and inclusion programs in the workplace and reinforces company's position as an equal opportunity employer; ensures all HR strategies are effective for a diverse population of employees.
  • Ensures meaningful human resources support is provided at all levels of company; assures the timely exchange of accurate information, reports, data, documents, trends, as appropriate, to effectuate leadership and decision-making processes.
  • Leads the development of a healthy corporate culture in support of growth and equal opportunity.
  • Keeps abreast of government regulations and public policies; amends as needed.
  • Assists with team building and staff development activities.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related field. Advanced training, education and/or certification is desired or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressively more responsible experience in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years in an HR leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting and responding to needs and requests.
  • Ability to focus on results, meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships; proven experience building and motivating a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with leadership and colleagues, both internal and external to the company; includes excellent presentation skills.
  • Effective use of MS Office tools.
