Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) is seeking forward-thinking, professionals interested in exploring a technical career as a Shift Supervisor.
This person will be the Lead Shift Supervisor (SS) for an ATR Operations shift. Responsible to the ATR Operations Assistant Manager for overall operation and supervision of the ATR.
Responsibilities Include:
During off-normal hours during the assigned shift:
  • Directly supervises all operations, directs emergency operation during casualty situations.
  • Ensures reactor operations are performed within the ATR safety authorization bases in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and manuals.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicable Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, plus 5 years experience or 10 years experience/education in lieu of a degree.
  • Education and experience as detailed in PDD-105, "ATR Programs Training."
  • Must hold or have held a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) and Shift Supervisor certification at ATR.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L security clearance.
