Overall description: ISO New England oversees and ensures the fair administration of the region's wholesale electricity markets which consists of market assets. This analyst is responsible for supporting and leading asset registration activities for Generation, Load, Tie Lines, Asset Related Demand, and Demand Response.

How you will make an Impact
  • Providing a wide array of customer support and communications in the area of asset registration
  • Resolving customer questions and concerns that require researching and interpreting various governing documents, including the ISO New England Inc. Tariff, Market Rule 1, ISO New England Manuals, and ISO New England Operating Procedures
  • Responding to customer inquiries about incorporating new assets into the wholesale markets, providing clear requirements and deadlines and managing all of the moving parts of the "project" to add a resource
  • Providing support for accurate registration of DE/DDE dispatch locations for modeled assets and Demand Response
  • Providing support for and acting as a project manager for the new modeled asset coordination process
  • Developing and delivering detailed documentation such as memorandums, presentations, white papers, processes and procedures based upon detailed analysis in the support of projects/assignments
  • Identifying and implementing efficiencies and improvements in processes, procedures, and systems
  • Developing and delivering web-based and informal training presentations as assigned
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent experience
  • Up to 3 years of stated experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability and ability to perform data analysis, interpret results, and communicate results to others
  • Excellent oral, written, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Project Management and facilitation skills
