We anticipate a need for one or more Advanced Step Apprentice/Journeyman Lineman (5thStep or higher) to be located at our Shorewood Service Center in Shorewood, MN.This position will be posted for 10 Working Days from November 30, 2022 to December 13, 2022.

Depending on who our top candidate is, the following will be the paid at 5thStep Apprentice Lineman rate or higher:
5th Step Apprentice Lineman: $40.26hourly (80% of the Journeyman Lineman Rate which is $50.33hourly)
6th Step Apprentice Lineman: $42.78hourly (85% of Journeyman Lineman Rate which is $50.33hourly)
7th Step Apprentice Lineman: $45.30 hourly (90% of the Journeyman Lineman Rate which is $50.33hourly)
8th Step Apprentice Lineman: $47.81 hourly (95% of Journeyman Lineman Rate which is $50.33hourly)

Summary
In this position, you will work as part of a team that is responsible for construction maintenance and emergency repairs of all overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems.Residency within 20 miles of the service center is preferred.

Required
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Technical school Lineman degree is required
Must have CDL license and be able to pass random drug tests
Must be totally committed to safety, quality work, and customer service
Must to able to attend and pass all extended training at the Quality Academy
Must be able and willing to respond to after hours and weekend call outs
Must be mentally competent and able to communicate and comprehend instructions, and build on previous experience
Must work well with others and exhibit teamwork attitude
Must exhibit a high awareness of safety, and compliance with all company safety rules
