Job Brief

The position is dedicated operation project management
• Oversight of the capital budget to ensure SRP maintains proper timeline and spend
• Oversight of consultants to ensure the completion of contracted services and deliverables.
• The coordination of resource adjustments as necessary to accommodate the process changes
• The implementation oversight of new processes within TGO, TPSD and ST&F
• Supporting the adjustment of the Joint Ownership agreements for transmission, the update and revision to SRP's Open Access Transmission Tariff documentation
• Providing communications to Project Sponsors and delivery of presentations to executive management on the progress of the initiative
• Securing support from utilities outside SRP to ensure the support of Joint Owners
• Coordination with SRP's OCM team to identify and eliminate change management obstacles.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the processes related to SRP's

Job Responsibilities

Skill sets include the ability to:

• Represent and advance SRP's interests with respect to public power issues

• Participate in meetings, conference calls, and webinars with the representatives of other entities. Develop analysis, position papers, federal document comments and other work products that support the interests of SRP, other public power entities in Arizona, national public power organizations, and other allies in these settings.

• Develop and acquire data, collect needed information, and conduct analysis of various energy industry issues, problems, options, and political solutions. Develop and present work products that effectively communicate information to SRP management, colleagues inside SRP, and people outside SRP.

• Understand existing contract terms, conditions, other attributes, and information as needed to inform SRP management regarding upcoming decision opportunities, options, and actions that reside within existing contracts.

• Support long term planning for SRP's merchant transmission requirements that include Retail load, reserves, and wholesale oversight.

Marketing, sales and billing of SRP's excess transmission in accordance with SRP's Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT).

• Coordinate with transmission customers and prepare transmission service agreements (point to point and network/NITS) migration to the Flowgate methodology.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in field construction engineering, construction project management, contract administration, construction site management, or other equivalent project management experience for Senior level.Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three years of experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
