For years now, digital twins have been ranked among the top technology trends.?As a result of the growing penetration of IoT, digital twins are fast becoming a useful industrial tool– from predicting faults in wind turbines through to sophisticated simulations of entire cities. Recently, a new, more urgent use case has emerged—mitigating the impact of COVID-19.
Join Mark Damm, Founder and CTO of FuseForward, for a discussion on innovative ways digital twins can be used to minimize the risk of COVID-19. From monitoring airflow for the spread of the virus through to real-time virus sensors in wastewater.
Mark will also provide an overview of the campus-wide digital twin he is currently developing with Ryerson University. He will draw on this experience to deliver practical advice for critical infrastructure providers embarking on their own digital twin projects.
