State or Private?
State or Private?
When the situation is bad, the preferred solution is for the State to intervene and help.
When it's good, the will is to privatize.
But... it's not possible to have both worlds simultaneously. As Cecilia Meireles would say: either this or that!
The underlying aspect is: we need to analyze both possibilities, discover the advantages, disadvantages and risks of each one of them and then make a decision!
As long as we stay in this "gray zone", the most likely situation is that we will maintain our losing position when the metric is $/MWh compared to the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries.
Is this what we want?
