It's not surprising that it has taken Sinclair weeks to recover from a ransomware attack, and they're not finished. I know of one case where a company was still trying to recover after 4 months, and still had more work to eradicate the bad guys implants. The best way to stop ransomware is to stop if from being installed, right from the start, using proactive risk assessments based on NIST C-SCRM and SBOM best practices and on-going vulnerability monitoring for newly reported vulnerabilities that impact your installed software.
